Lumshill
Stone Company is owned by Peter Rawden and has been in operation
for 25 years. The company is a supplier of masonry products
using stones throughout the UK. Its base is spread through
architects, construction companies and local builders etc.
Lumshill
Stone Company was originally named after the Lumshill Quarry
at Matlock, Derbyshire.
The
company has recently invested in a new Bideseimpianti Primary
Wire Saw as well as a Spielvogel secondary saw to add extra
production to its existing capacity.
Our portfolio of clients and services is wide ranging, as
are the skills that the craftsman we employ provide our company
and clients. We have, over the years, worked on prestigious
restoration projects such as Derby Cathedral and shop, and
the masonry work we are undertaking ranges from detail Victorian
apartments to intricate window renewal and carvings.
Our
work is both local and national and is currently being used
at Winster Hall (a major refurbishment) together with Smalley
Lodge along with local schools and churches.
Stone
is also used for fire places
for which the company also offers a fixing service. |
